Three Peaks Challenge

What Is The Three Peaks Challenge?

The 3 Peaks Challenge is a very special and gruelling challenge which is accessible to novices as well as the well trained walkers and mountaineers.
The event involves climbing Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon within 24 hours. These mountains are the highest in England, Scotland and Wales respectively.

The allotted time of 24 hours includes the times it takes to drive between mountains and includes all pit stops for food, toilet breaks and anything else you may wish to stop for.

The Three Peaks Challenge is not an organised event. It is infact an unofficial event meaning most people are free to organise it themselves and to do it when and how they want.
Usually participants take part in small groups and it is advised that nobody do it on their own incase an accident were to happen on one of the peaks. An allocated driver who doesn't scale the mountains is usually a good idea too since they can do the night and day time driving without feeling too tired.

The Three Peaks Challenge is a great event to be part of and if organised well with good preparation it can be accomplished by almost anybody.
